		Our soldiers have demonstrated heroism, we are determined to demonstrate compassion. 100% of your contribution will be used to support the wounded and their families. We work directly with military family medical centers to determine needs, especially at Walter Reed and Brook Army Medical.

We are dedicated to expanding the benefits of credit union membership to a wider range of people in a fair, responsible and dignified manner by teaching basic money management principles.

• Maintaining Board oversight in a regular and consistent manner.
• Maintaining a value proposition whereby 90% or more of donated funds go to programs, and not to overhead.

OUR RELATIONSHIP TO PENTAGON FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

Pentagon Federal Credit Union authorized the creation of The Pentagon Federal Credit Union Foundation. As a direct response to the difficulties experienced by some military personnel in achieving financial security for themselves and their families while serving our country. Pentagon Federal Credit Union believes that this situation can be remedied, in part, through improved money management skills, training and counseling. Pentagon Federal Credit Union has served the financial needs of U.S. defense employees since 1935.

OUR HISTORY

The Pentagon Federal Credit Union Foundation was

• Incorporated in December, 2001
• Received 501(c)3 designation from the Internal Revenue Service in June 2002.
• Offered its first program, Dream Makers for First-Time Home Buyers, in November 2002.
