BIOGRAPHY
Colonel (Ret.) Lonnie L. Stith

Colonel Stith was born in Hampton, Virginia and received his commission in 1977 upon graduation as a Distinguished Military Graduate from Hampton University.

He began his military career with the 7th Infantry Division, Fort Ord, California. He has held staff and command assignments within the United States as well as Germany and Korea. His final Army assignment was as Deputy Director, Resource Integration Directorate, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, the Pentagon. Immediately prior to that assignment, Colonel Stith served as a Professor of Political Science and Deputy Chair of the Political Science Department, Industrial College of the Armed Forces, National Defense University, Washington, D.C.

Colonel Stith is a graduate of the CIA's Intelligence Community Officer's Course. He received his Juris Doctorate from the George Washington University School of Law. He also holds a Master's Degree in Resource Management from Pepperdine University, a Master of Public Administration from Auburn University, and a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University. In 2002 Colonel Stith was designated an International Relations Fellow as a member of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Center for International Studies Seminar XXI Program. Colonel Stith has been a member of the Pentagon Federal Credit Union Board of Directors since 2005.

In 2006, Colonel Stith accepted a position with the Department of Homeland Security and is currently a Senior Policy Analyst in the Policy Directorate, Office of Strategic Plans.
